Sullivan to Ivy League

Carson Sullivan's recruitment took a hit with a significant knee injury just prior to the July evaluation period, but the 6-foot-2, 175-pound shooting guard found the perfect fit on a weekend visit and is headed to the Ivy League.
With over twenty low and mid-major schools recruiting him prior to his injury, Sullivan watched one after the other drop their pursuit of him and move to other targets. Pennsylvania, however, stayed the course and landed a commitment from Sullivan.
"I was down to three schools- Penn, Princeton and Charlotte," said Sullivan, who attends Charlotte (N.C.) Christian School. "Charlotte wanted me to walk on and then possibly earn a scholarship. I visited Princeton first, and that was a nice visit. But then I went to Penn and was really impressed. There is a big time basketball feel there with the school being in Philadelphia and playing in the Big Five. And I can still get an Ivy League education. I loved Penn and couldn't think of a reason not to commit to them."
