Strong Stat Line for Gordon
Jamont Gordon, the No. 25 player in the Rivals75 for the class of 2005, put up a strong stat line despite shooting poorly in a first round playoff win for Glencliff (Tenn.) High School over Illinois 2005 commitment David Palmer’s Antioch (Tenn.) High School team.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Gordon finished the four point win with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 blocks, 3 steals, and 1 turnover. However, against Antioch’s box and one defense, he only shot 4 of 16 from the field and 7 of 13 from the line.

Palmer finished with 2 points and 1 rebound on the night.
It does appear that Gordon has settled on an AAU team for the summer.
“I’m going to play for the [Tennessee] Travelers,” he said after the game. “I made that decision last Friday.”
When asked if anything new was going on with his recruitment, Gordon had this reply.
“Not really, just a lot more letters from Kentucky.”
