Strong senior season for Schulte

Nate Schulte is having a stellar season for undefeated Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nev. Schools are slowly beginning to show more interest in the 6-foot-6, 215-pound combo forward, but Schulte's mind is focused on his senior season.
"Tulsa has been here recently," said Schulte. "Irvine, Santa Barbara, Portland State and Southern Utah are also interested.

"But I'm focused on my high school season. After the season, I'll focus on my recruitment and my future."
Coming off an ankle injury that sidelined him for almost a full year, Shulte is averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds for his 19-0 team.
Although Schulte is on the bubble between a mid-major and high-major prospect, he is not obsessed with going to the biggest school.
"I just want a good situation for myself and a chance to play early," he said.
Nate Schulte scouting report:
A hard-nosed competitor, Schulte is quick to the ball and apt to make the hustle play. Has above average athleticism and very good strength. He is gradually improving his perimeter skills and projects as a combo forward.
