Stramaglia off the board

Three-star combo guard Mario Stramaglia was a prospect on the rise, but he know it was time to end his recruitment and focus on his game.
Stramaglia, 6-goot, 175-pounds from Birmingham (Ala.) Mountain Brook High School is headed to East Tennessee State.

Other Atlantic Sun schools were pursuing Stramaglia, and high majors such as USC, Virginia, Boston College and Oregon State were beginning to call on him. Stramaglia, however, was ready for the recruiting process to end.
"East Tennessee State was the first to offer, and I have a really good relationship with assistant Thomas Johnson," said Strmaglia. "The recruiting process was just taking up too much time. East Tennessee State is a great fit, and I want to just focus on my game now."
A strong athlete with an excellent shooting touch, Stramaglia averaged 19 points, five rebounds and four assists per game as a junior.
