Storm blowing over to the Big East

Class of 2010 big man Storm Stanley will be on the phone quite a bit on Tuesday afternoon on his way home from the adidas It Takes 5ive Classic in Cinciannati. The 6-foot-10 center from Toledo (Ohio) St. Francis made a verbal commitment to a Big East program.
Stanley verbally committed to West Virginia on Tuesday and the phone calls are beginning to roll in, wishing him congratulations on his decision.

After helping his Ohio Basketball Club team win the 16 and under bronze division at the It Takes 5ive event, Stanley told Rivals.com he felt like he found the perfect fit for his college experience.
"I like their program and coach [Bob] Huggins seems like the kind of coach that I want to play for. I like his coaching style," Stanley said. "They've been recruiting me since the beginning of the AAU season."
Stanley said he hopes to make an impact with the Big East team when he gets to Morgantown in the fall of 2010.
"I want to go there and work hard and just get bigger and stronger so I can help them with my rebounding and hustle inside," Stanley said.
The rising junior said the majority of the MAC was also in consideration, including Akron and Central Michigan.
Stanley joins fellow Ohio Basketball Club player Noah Cottrill in WVU's 2010 recruiting class.
