Storm almost over

A chance to play at the state school is something Storm Warren is seriously contemplating at the moment.
The 6-foot-6, 215-pound power forward from Monroe (La.) Richwoods High School reneged on his commitment to Baylor and has since explored the idea of staying closer to home for his college experience.

Warren will visit LSU this weekend, he said, for an official visit. The SEC school is sitting pretty heading into the weekend, he admitted.
"I'm kind of leaning towards LSU right now," Warren said.
Why the change of heart this late in the game?
"Well, you know, it's a chance for me to stay in the state, it's close to home, they are a big time program and it's a good environment," Warren said. "It's a good place to be."
Warren said he's been to Baton Rouge a number of times to see the Tigers play over the course of the last couple of years.
Warren won a state championship with former Richwoods player Terry Martin, who is currently a junior at LSU.
The Tigers have been hot as the signing period draws closer. John Brady and staff landed a pledge from Dallas area star J'Mison Morgan last week.
Warren said he intends to sign next week and potentially on the first day of the signing period next Wednesday.
