Stinson Has Triple-Double

Curtis Stinson (right), a 6-2 combo guard from The Winchendon School in Massachusetts who signed with Iowa State, had a triple-double tonight. "He had a great game," said head coach Mike Byrnes. "He was one of the reasons why we won."
Stinson scored 25 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and had 12 assists. He had some pretty stiff competition too tonight in Gary Ervin (Mississippi State) and Will Blalock (Iowa State). Blalock finished the game with five points.

"Curtis did everything for us tonight," Byrnes said. "He ran the floor game real well, he shot it well and played hard on both ends of the court."
Curtis has improved and worked very hard on his jumper. He had an outstanding summer.
Stinson, a rock-solid 6-2, 205-pounds, was named MVP of the Las Vegas Big Time Tournament during The New York Ravens' title run. Stinson also boosted his stock considerably with solid performances at the ABCD camp and the Three Stripes tournament. And now it appears Stinson is off to a great start for The Winchendon School. We will have more updates on The Winchendon School this weekend right here on this site.
