Still No Word From Clark Williams

It's a mystery to St. Thomas More head coach Jere Quinn. One of his top players left for Christmas break and never showed. "I didn't even get a phone call," Quinn told us. "So I don't know what happened to him."
Quinn is talking about Clark Williams , a 6-6, 190 pound shooting guard/swingman from Lilburn, Georgia.

Williams had signed with Ohio State last spring, but enrolled at St. Thomas More in the fall after failing to earn the necessary academic credentials for freshman eligibility.
Williams was at STM for the fall semester, but Chancellors Head Coach Jere Quinn said he did not return in January. "I believe he was homesick," Quinn said.
Williams took early official visits to Towson and East Carolina. While at St. Thomas More, he was able to attain a qualifying test score on the SAT, so he could have enrolled at a Division I school in January or next fall with four years of eligibility.
Williams was on an excellent Berkmar H.S. squad last year in Georgia, and was recruited by the likes of St. Bonaventure and others before casting his lot with Ohio State.
