Stewart Twins Headed To USC

Lodrick and Rodrick Stewart, 6-4, 215 pound twin guards from Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Wash., are headed to Southern Cal. They picked the Trojans over the University of Washington.
The twins made the announcement Sunday night during the 10 P.M. PST Fox Sports Net Northwest Sports Report, according to Frank Burlison of FoxSports.com.

This is a switch from what was published in Sunday's Seattle Times.
Based on conversations with the twins and their father, Bull Stewart, the Times reported that the future school was Washington. That apparently was a subterfuge.
The Stewarts told Times reporter Sally Ringer, "But they later admitted they were trying to throw the media off after being asked by fans repeatedly where they would play."
Only the fake apparently was about U-Dub, not USC, even though Ringer's story included the following guarantee, "'This is real,' Rodrick said of choosing Washington."
