Stewart to Missouri Valley

2011 three-star point guard Donivine Stewart Bartonville (Ill.) Limestone Community High School is headed to the Missouri Valley Conference.
"I love the city of Peoria and I really love playing for my city," Stewart told the Peoria Journal Star. "During AAU season, the Chicago kids call me Peoria. Playing for Bradley is like playing for my hometown.

"The main thing that hit me was my trust in Coach (Jim) Les and the coaching staff. When they spoke, I believed everything they were saying. Also, I love the tradition of Bradley. Look at the (local) players who've gone there: (Daniel) Ruffin, Dyricus (Simms-Edwards), Jeremy (Crouch). I felt it was my time to go there."
Stewart, 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, averaged 30 points and four assists per game as a junior. He was also considering DePaul and West Virginia.
