Stevenson entertaining coaches

Perry Stevenson, the No. 59 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, is listening to pitches from college coaches during in-home visits this month. Once the in-home visits are completed, Stevenson, a 6-foot-9, 190-pound post player from Northside High School in Lafayette, La., will schedule official visits for the month of October.
"Miami is coming in soon, but I'm not sure when since I don't have my list of visit dates in front of me," said Stevenson. "Wake Forest, Texas Tech and Georgia Tech have already visited me.

"All the visits have been good, but none of them stood out more than the others."
Stevenson noted some of the other schools that he is involved with.
"I still talk to Coach Hanson and Coach Smith, some, from Kentucky, and Texas is recruiting me. I guess LSU is recruiting me, but I don't hear much from them."
Without a leader and with no official visits scheduled, Stevenson plans on taking some visits in October.
"After the last home visit, I'll schedule my official visits for October," he said. "I don't know if I will sign early. I wouldn't mind signing late."
Stevenson, who averaged 13 points, 11 rebounds and 9 blocks per game as a junior, is a very long and smooth athlete who excels at running the floor and blocking shots. His offensive game is developing, and he will only get better as a rebounder and scorer as he gets stronger.
