Steve Burtt, Jr Has Visits Planned

Steve Burtt, Jr., a very aggressive 6-1, 180 pound shooting guard from Rice H.S. in New York, N.Y., has planned a pair of spring visits.
Burtt told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has spring trips planned for Fairfield and Chicago State. Dayton had also made some recent inquiries, but the Flyer program might not have any more scholarships left this spring after picking up Warren Williams of DeMatha H.S. in Maryland.

Burtt played well this past weekend with the Dyckman squad in the open division of the Hoop Group/Converse Spring Jam Fest in Providence, R.I.
IR had a chance to see Burtt with his high school squad several times this past winter, and we were consistently impressed with his effort on both ends of the floor.
A strong slasher with a knack for scoring points in bunches, Burtt (the son of former Iona star Steve) averaged 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals per game.
Burtt is still pretty open on schools, and plans to make a spring decision, so we will keep you posted on his situation.
