Sterns is Big 12 bound

Jamison Sterns, a class of 2010 prospect, wasted little time in deciding to follow in the footsteps of his father James Sterns. Jamison Sterns, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound point guard from Waxahachie (Texas) High School, committed to a Big 12 school on Sunday.
Sterns was hearing from Notre Dame, UCLA and Texas. However, when Baylor - his father's alma mater - offered Jamison jumped on the opportunity.

"I think this is the best thing for me," said Sterns. "My father played at Baylor, and it's close to home. I love the atmosphere, the facilities and the coaches and the way they coach. They can help me and I can help them.
"I think we can help each other win a national championship. I like the talent coming into the program. Baylor is only going to get better and better."
A scoring guard who plays for Team Texas' 16-under squad, Sterns averaged 16 points, five rebounds and five assists per game as a freshman for Waxahachie.
