Star Swing Goes West

Tim Morris, a 6-4, 190-pound combo guard from Whitefield Academy in Mableton, Georgia, committed to Stanford, according to sources close to Morris.
Morris, who will attend the NIKE camp in July, also said there were several programs that had in school visits. Maryland, North Carolina State, Clemson, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Stanford all came by to talk to Morris during the last contact period.
Morris is an excellent student too. He has achieved an 1190 on the SAT. Morris previously indicated he might take a look at schools like Penn, Princeton, and Harvard. "Academics are very important to me," Morris said. "I want to not only succeed athletically but academically."
Morris averaged averaged 21.6 ppg., 11.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists this past year.
