Star Guard Gets Taste Of Midwest

Tim Morris, a 6-4, 195-pound combo guard from Whitefield Academy in Mableton, Georgia, told us he had a good visit to Notre Dame. But he has no plans to make any decision until the Fall.
"I will probably take my final visits in the Fall," Morris said. "But I wanted to see if I liked the Midwest."

Morris said he enjoyed playing some pickup ball with the older players at Notre Dame. "It's always good to see how you do against those type of players," Morris said. "I think I felt comfortable in playing with them."
Morris told us that he hasn't made up his mind whether he wants to stay in the South or go away from home. "That's why I took the visit," Morris said. "I wanted to see what it was like. It was the first time I had been to Notre Dame."
Morris said his race is open and he has not closed off his list. last night that he will only take one visit right now in the next month. "I plan on visiting Notre Dame," Morris said. "I have not set up any more visits. I am not sure if I will take any more visits before the summer."
Morris, who will attend the NIKE camp in July, also said many other programs have come by his school for visits. "Maryland, North Carolina State, Clemson, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Vanderbilt," Morris said. "Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Stanford too."
Morris is an excellent student too. He has achieved an 1190 on the SAT. Morris said he wants to push for a higher scorer. "I am looking to get 1200 to 1300 on my next try," said a motivated Morris. "I will take the test again in June."
Morris also indicated he might take a look at schools like Penn, Princeton, and Harvard.
