Stanford, Vandy, GT, UVA Keep Tabs On PG

He's not flashy. He won't wow you with athletic dunks. However, Manny Quezada is a solid point guard. Quezada, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound combo guard from St. Albans Academy in Washington, D.C., has to be one of the better guards in the 2004 class. Quezada can play either guard position and did so this past weekend at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia.
"I want to improve my defense," Quezada told RivalsHoops.com. "I also want to work on getting stronger."

Quezada spoke about his recruiting process and the schools staying in contact. "Stanford, Vanderbilt, Providence, St. Joe's, Georgia Tech and Virginia are the schools I am hearing from the most," Quezada.
Other schools mentioned before by Manny are Providence, Delaware, Davidson, and a number of Ivy League schools. Quezada has already nailed down a 1060 on the SAT so he should be in solid shape academically.
Quezada, who averaged 22 points this past season at St. Albans, is a terrific shooter who has the ability to create with his smarts and handle. He isn't flashy but every crafty with the ball.
If Quezada continues to play smart, solid ball from the guard spot, he is likely going to field many scholarship offers this summer.
