Stanaitis Can Stroke It

Tadas Stanaitis, a compactly built 6-2, 200 pound shooting guard from Lithuania, has enjoyed an excellent senior campaign for Dick Wall's Roanoke (Va.) Catholic program.
Rivalshoops.com caught Stanaitis in action at the recent Basketball Hall of Fame Tournament in Springfield, Mass. We came away impressed with his long distance shooting acumen.

In a 79-68 loss to Archbishop Molloy H.S. of Queens, N.Y., Stanaitis pumped in 27 points on five of 10 shooting from beyond the three point arc. He's primarily a catch and shoot three point threat, but he does that quite well.
Coming into the Hall of Fame Tournament, Wall said that Stanaitis had connected o 41 of 71 three point attempts.
"He's learning how to catch and shoot quickly and take the junk out of his perimeter game," Wall said.
Radford University in Virginia and a slew of Division II programs are eyeballing Stanaitis thus far, but if continues his excellent three point shooting, it's likely that more D-I programs could hop in the mix with him this winter.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on Stanaitis, as well as other top unsigned seniors from around the country, so keep it here for the most comprehensive coverage of recruiting on the net.
