Stafford To Take Visits Soon

Nick Stafford, a 6-8, 190-pound forward from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, is finishing up his career for head coach Mo Cassara this week. Stafford and Cassara hope that Worcester advances to the championship game this Sunday.
Stafford has had an interesting career for Worcester. When he first started play at Worcester, many thought this nifty run/jump athlete would land on a high major level. But Stafford has limited range on his jumper but can flush it with the best athletes on the high school level.

"Nick is still open in his recruiting," Cassara said. "But he is seriously interested in Central Connecticut State, Virginia Commonwealth, George Mason, Maine. There are other mid to lows also interested in him."
According to Cassara, Stafford has taken a visit already to Central Connecticut State. Schools like Massachusetts, LaSalle, Memphis, Hartford, Boston University, and Providence all took looks at Stafford during the school year. It's hard to say now who among that group will offer.
Stafford has another week to convince other programs he can possibly play at a higher level. "The schools he has recruiting him are quality programs," Cassara said. "So I think his recruiting is going just fine."
Stafford is averaging 10 points and eight rebounds per game so far this season at Worcester.
