St. Thomas More wing sorting out recruitment

As far as Damion Lee is concerned, his senior season couldn't have ended any better. Now, he's looking forward to getting his recruitment wrapped up in the next month.
The 6-foot-5 small forward and his teammates at Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More went out in style winning the recent National Prep School Championship.

"It's a great feeling," Lee told Rivals.com. "Especially with us losing in the NEPSAC and then coming back as a team and winning that. We were able to beat all three teams that had beaten us so it was a vengeance tournament for us."
A three-star prospect and one of the top available wings in the country, Lee has a rock solid game. He finishes with athleticism around the rim, can make open jumpers and is an excellent defender.
Coaches love his versatility and also his intangibles.
"I think it's my personality and my work ethic on and off the court," Lee said of what coaches like about him. "I just want to be the best. I'm always trying to be first in everything and lead by example. I don't talk about things, I just pick up the ball and lead by example."
Having already visited Northeastern and LaSalle officially, Lee will soon be visiting Drexel officially. TCU and Valparaiso are also in the mix, while DePaul has started to sniff around.
While he's open to new schools, Lee is nearing a decision and is quite content with the quality and level of schools recruiting him.
"It's a blessing to go to Division I and whatever school I go to, I'm going to be happy and make the most of it," he said. "I think I could go to the ACC or Big East and play. But, I want to go to a situation where I know that I can go in and play, and know that they need me and don't just want me to fill out a roster."
