Coming off a chaotic 2011 recruiting season and then losing both recruits from a nationally ranked 2012 recruiting class, St. John's now has a recruit in its 2012 class.
Extraordinary athlete Felix Balamou of Centereach (N.Y.) Our Savior New American School has decided to stay local and play in the Big East for St. John's.
Balamou, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard, impressed with his play on a national stage at this year's Hoophall Classic.
