Soph Watch: Jerome Johnson

Jerome Johnson, a well put together 6-8, 205 pound sophomore power forward/center from Bullis H.S. in Potomac, Md., could be one of the better prospects in the Class of 2004.
Johnson was on display recently at the Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament in Lewes, Del. The Slam Dunk was held late last month. While he did not post big numbers or is not yet a major offensive cog in the Bulldog attack, he is blessed with a good basketball body and is clearly a player to keep an eye on in the Class of 2004.

Bullis Head Coach Mike Hibbs told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that Virginia, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Penn State and Michigan have expressed very early interest in Johnson.
Since he is just a sophomore, the Insiders Report will be keeping an eye on Johnson over the coming months and years, so stay tuned to this site for progress reports on him.
