As we reported yesterday, Ron Coleman, a 6-6, 200 pound sophomore small forward/shooting guard from Romulus (MI) High School committed to Michigan.
Coleman choose Michigan over Purdue, Louisville, Michigan State and Cincinnati.
He said, "I really like the campus and the atmosphere. I've been up there a lot of times. And the coaching staff is great."
Coleman, who plans to major in architecture, added that Michigan's strong academic program was also very important.
He averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds and three assists and looks to improve on this past season's 11-10 record. "We'll be stronger next year," he said.
Coleman also plays with The Family AAU squad. He'll be at the Nike Hoop Jamboree in St. Louis next month (June 19-23).
