Some Top Players From ABCD Camp/Southwest

TEANECK, NEW JERSEY -- Reporter Russ Blake spends some time to highlight a couple of neat performances at the ABCD camp yesterday on the campus of FDU. These are players who go to high school in the Southwest.
#231 Kendrick Perkins, Suns -- Perkins, a 6-11, 260 pound behemoth from Beaumont, Tex., has been a force in both of his squad's games. He ranks near the top in scoring and at the top in rebounding.

Perkins has vaccum cleaner hands, great touch around the basket and the ability to block shots and keep them in play. While he may not get off the floor much, his long arms compensate for any athletic shortcomings.
Simply put, he may be the best big man here, hands down!
#198, Chris Bosh, Spurs -- Speaking of great big men, the 6-10 Bosh runs like a gazelle, and on Sunday night at the ABCD Camp, displayed range out to three point land.
Although his body has not filled out yet, there's no denying Bosh's talent and motor. He consistently beat Sani Ibrahim up and down the court on Sunday night, outscoring the Nigerian big man 14-4.
