Some More Highlights From Showcase

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA -- Here are some more brief highlights from tonight's action at the AAU Showcase inside the Walt Disney's Wide World of Sports.

Alabama 67, Baltimore Blue 63: Chuck Davis continued his solid play by scoring 19 points to lead his team into the second playoff pool round. Marcus Kennedy also scored 12 points and Hassan Riggs also added 12 for the winners. J.J. Outlaw scored 15 points to lead Baltimore while teammates Tyler Smith and Darnell Hopkins each scored 12 points for the Blue.

Arkansas 77, Team Memphis 69: Cornelius Manning and Octavious Baily each scored 19 points to lead Arkansas to a tough win over a talented Team Memphis squad.

Jeremy Brown scored 16 and Brandan Cole had 13 also for the winners while Josh Robinson led Team Memphis with 28 points. Teammate Jeremy Hunt had 18 points also for Team Memphis.

All Ohio 60, Georgia Jazz 57: Ronald Lewis scored 17 points and Andrew Lavender added 13 points to lead All Ohio to a hard fought victory in the first round of the playoff pool. Andrew Murphy also had 10 points for the winners. Brad Gaining had 15 points for the losers while teammate Darnell Jenkins led the way with 17 points.

Houston 63, NJ Celtics 48: Kendrick Perkins scored 20 points to lead Houston to a first round playoff pool victory. Michael Nardi scored 22 points for the Celtics.

Hoopnuts 76, NJ Demons 67: Lud Deng scored 29 points in an already impressive tournament for him. Deng's 29 helped his team to victory.

Spiece 72, St. Louis Eagles 69: Russell Trudeau scored 20 points and Justin Chiltine added 15 points in a victory. Troy Slater led the losers with 21 points while Brian Randell added 16.
