Solid JUCO Guard Makes Decision
David Truesdale, a solid 6-2, 200-pound shooting guard from Dodge City CC in Kansas, has decided to head home for his final two years of playing college basketball. Truesdale, a rising sophomore, committed late last night to Tommy Herrion's College of Charleston basketball program.
Truesdale, who averaged about 14 points a game last season, can shoot the ball and is also considered a good defender. He previously had serious interest from New Mexico, South Alabama, UNC-Wilmington, and Winthrop, all which offered a free ride to Truesdale.
Truesdale is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and wanted to be close to home to play his final two years on the division one level so his family could see him play.
