Solid Forward Wont Close List Yet

It had been thought that talented forward Bobby Perry had his list closed. "No, I haven't," Perry told us tonight. "I am still open. If a school calls and I am interested I will consider them seriously."
Perry, a 6-7, 215-pounder from Hillsdale High School in Durham, North Carolina, has a top three list of Kentucky, Stanford, and Wake Forest. The recent commitments to Wake Forest have affected Perry's thoughts on Skip Prosser's program. However, Wake is still a factor in the process. "It did change my thinking a little," Perry said. "But I like Wake Forest too. I am still seriously interested in them. I have enough confidence in my ability to play anywhere."

Perry will take his next trip this weekend to Kentucky. "I have already been there," Perry said. "I saw a game in Rupp Arena. It's a great atmosphere for college basketball. They have great fan support and I like the coaches a lot."
Perry said he could make a decision after the visit. "I could but it would be a gut decision," Perry said. "I am still interested in visiting Stanford too."
Perry, who averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds per game last season as a junior, previously told us that South Carolina and Connecticut are no longer being listed high on his list.
