Smith has two at the top

2010 point guard Eric Smith made a splash earlier this fall with his strong play at the Pangos All South Freshman/Sophomore Camp. Smith, 6-foot, 185-pounds, has carried that confident play throughout the high school season leading his Mullins (S.C.) High School squad to an undefeated record.
"We are having a great season so far," said Smith. "We have a really good shot at winning state as long as we keep playing together."

A powerful guard who has the physique to impose his will on the court, Smith is doing his best to enhance the unselfish play of his team.
"I'm getting my teammates involved more," he said. "My assist numbers are up this year. I'm going to keep working on everything, especially my shooting. When I shoot the ball well, it opens up everything for me."
Colleges are taking note of Smith, who is averaging 18 points and eight assists per game this year.
Clemson has offered him and watched him play this season. Tennessee, Florida, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Penn State, South Carolina and Georgia are also recruiting Smith.
Two of these schools standout at the moment.
"Tennessee and Clemson are my top two schools right now," said Smith. "I really like Tennessee's style of play, and Clemson is showing the most interest in me."
