Smith has list

Angelo Smith, a 6-4, 206 pound shooting guard/small forward from Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI, has a list of seven schools that are currently interested in recruiting him.
Smith, who played with George Karl's Friends of Hoops, saw action this summer at California's Best of Summer and the adidas ABCD camp and Big Time Tournament.

Schools on his list are Yale, Cornell, Ohio U., Northwestern, Central Florida, LIU and Navy. None of these schools have offered yet. Smith is now working out visits to begin once school is back in session. "I'd like to make a decision in the fall or winter," he said.
The Milwaukee-area native's strengths are his ability to slash and score. He's also proud of his defensive play, but isn't resting on that aspect of his game. "This summer I worked on improving my defensive skills, ball handling and shooting," he said.
Smith averaged 10 points and six rebounds last season for Paul Hepp's 18-3 squad. "We'll repeat as conference champions. I want to get to the state's this year," he added.
Already qualified with a 2.6 GPA and a 27 on the ACT, Smith said he hasn't decided on a major though he is considering psychology.
This young man knows what he wants to do. When deciding on a school, academics will come first. "I want to be able to get a good job after four years," Smith said. He also said he'll choose a school that's in a good area. "Some place that has a nice environment and things to do," he said. The last criteria he mentioned - a good coaching staff.
