Georgia wing Colin Slotter is about to embark on his official visits. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound senior from North Cobb High School is a hot target for a number of mid-level programs.
Slotter has visit dates set up with Murray State (Sept. 18) and Central Florida (Oct. 5). He said he will set up a date with Utah when the Utes come down for an in-home visit next week. Murray State will be in on the first day coaches can be out for in-home visits on Sept. 9.
Slotter said he would like to visit Drexel and James Madison. Auburn, DePaul, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee State and Richmond are also in the picture, he says.
"I would say my top five is Murray State, Utah, Central Florida, Drexel and Middle Tennessee. I really like them all," Slotter said.
"I want to see the student sections at the games and see how they interact with the team. I want to have a good relationship with my coach and not just a basketball relationship. I want to be able to talk with them about anything. Good facilities are a plus. But really, it's going to come down to the coaches. I want to have that relationship with them."
After a successful summer with the Worldwide Renegades program and a strong showing at the Reebok All-American camp, Slotter quickly became a hot target amongst the mid-level programs.
