Sims Says BC Visit Went Well

Courtney Sims, a skilled 6-10, 222 pound power forward/center from Noble & Greenough H.S. in Denham, Mass., told us his trip to Boston College went well. "Boston College plays the flex offense," Sims said. "This allows a big guy like myself to be involved a lot offensively. I can shoot and pass and the coaches there feel I will fit in nicely if I go there."
Sims said he got a good chance to see the campus too. "It's a beautiful campus," Sims said. "I like the coaches. I also had a chance to meet the athletic director. It was a very good trip."

Sims has also visited Providence and Connecticut unofficially. "I like the dorms at Providence and the coaches," Sims stated again. "I also feel comfortable with the Connecticut coaches and the campus at Connecticut is very nice."
Sims will also officially visit Michigan on September 6th, Syracuse on September 13th, and Maryland on September 27th. He also lists Memphis and Kentucky. "I haven't ruled out any school right now," Sims said. "It is possible I could take trips to either Memphis or Kentucky. I am not sure just yet on where I might go after my Maryland trip."
Sims is big enough and agile enough to handle himself in the low post. He is slender for sure and will need to strengthen his frame to be a great college player.
Previously, Sims enjoyed a productive week at the Peach Jam too, where he averaged 15.8 points and six rebounds in five games for BABC.
Sims averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks per game as a junior at Noble & Greenough. He said he carries a 2.4 GPA in the classroom and has scored a 960 on the SAT, which meets the fully qualified guidelines used by the NCAA.
