Sims Plans Several Trips

Courtney Sims, a skilled 6-10, 222 pound power forward/center from Noble & Greenough H.S. in Denham, Mass., told us his first two trips this summer have gone well.
"I have visited Connecticut and Providence," Sims said. "I like the dorms at Providence and the coaches. I also like the campus at UCONN and their coaches too."

Sims will take an unofficial visit to Boston College today. He will also officially visit Michigan on September 6th, Syracuse on September 13th, and Maryland on September 27th. He also lists Memphis and Kentucky. "I don't have a leader," Sims said. "I want to take the visits first before I decide."
Sims said he was also interested in setting up a trip to Memphis. Sims told us that Kentucky has started to show more interest. "I have some interest in them," Sims said. "I don't know yet whether I will be able to set up a visit."
Some of the programs that watched him in Orlando were Kentucky, Arizona, Memphis, Arkansas, Connecticut, and North Carolina. (to name a few) Sims is big enough and agile enough to handle himself in the low post. He is slender for sure and will need to strengthen his frame to be a great college player.
Previously, Sims enjoyed a productive week at the Peach Jam too, where he averaged 15.8 points and six rebounds in five games for BABC.
Sims averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks per game as a junior at Noble & Greenough. He said he carries a 2.4 GPA in the classroom and has scored a 960 on the SAT, which meets the fully qualified guidelines used by the NCAA.
