Sims Chooses Michigan

Courtney Sims, a skilled 6-10, 222 pound power forward/center from Noble & Greenough H.S. in Denham, Mass., committed to Michigan last night, according to several sources close to Sims. Sims chose Michigan over Boston College.
The visit is what helped Sims decide for the Wolverines, according to our sources. Remember, Sims recently took unofficial visits to Boston College, Providence, and Connecticut. His trip to Boston College went well too and many in the basketball world thought he would stay home. But Tommy Amaker and his staff got it done.

Sims also considered Syracuse and Maryland.
Sims is big enough and agile enough to handle himself in the low post. He is slender for sure and will need to strengthen his frame to be a great college player.
Previously, Sims enjoyed a productive week at the Peach Jam too, where he averaged 15.8 points and six rebounds in five games for BABC.
Sims averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks per game as a junior at Noble & Greenough. He said he carries a 2.4 GPA in the classroom and has scored a 960 on the SAT, which meets the fully qualified guidelines used by the NCAA.
