Sikes Still Uncommitted

During the past couple of weeks, RivalsHoops.com has taken another look at Marcus Sikes of Notre Dame Academy of Middleburg, Virginia.
Sikes had a lot to gain from a strong performance at the War on the Shore. But for whatever reason, the 6-7 forward just didn't have it in a 72-54 loss to Blair Academy. He got into foul trouble, finishing with just two points, four rebounds and six turnovers.

Larry Cullinane's Dragons play an aggressive schedule this season, and there's little doubt that Sikes will rebound and play significantly better. So there will be plenty of opportunities for Sikes to show how good a player he really is.
Sikes is a long armed forward who slashes the baseline effectively and is a presence on the offensive glass, Sikes has been offered thus far by Kent State and Rhode Island, according to NDA Head Coach Larry Cullinane. There have been other schools that have followed Sikes but have not yet offered. Among them are UConn, Clemson, George Washington, Richmond and West Virginia.
A native of Petersburg, Va., Sikes averaged 12.5 points per game as a junior last season.
