Shot Blocker Getting Division I Attention

Anthony Lalor, a 6'9'' 225 pound BF/C from Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York, is a spindly shot blocker who has gotten some Division I looks.
Lalor, who had originally committed to George Washington out of Dewitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, and then cast his lot with Drexel, was a non-qualifier out of the prep ranks. Currently, he has gotten some looks from an interesting range of schools. Miami(FL) has poked around, checking out Lalor against Sullivan (NY) CC a few weeks back, and Rutgers has also inquired. Others who have expressed some degree of interest in Lalor include Norfolk State, Farleigh Dickinson, and St. Francis (NY).

What Lalor does well is block shots. While Anthony has a wiry frame, he is quick off his feet and an able rejector, aided by a terrific wingspan. He runs the floor pretty well, but will need to get stronger, as he is fairly lithe and susceptible to getting knocked around underneath.
Lalor is pretty raw offensively. His offensive game is mostly limited to stick backs and in close turnarounds. Anthony has solid footwork and decent hands.
We'll keep you posted as Lalor's recruitment continues to progress.
