Shipp visiting Pac-10 school

Three-star 2006 prospect Jerren Shipp is still on the board. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, Calif., is involved with three schools, and he will visit a Pac-10 school.
Coach Herb Sendek and his staff at Arizona State will host Shipp this weekend.

"They said they wouldn't bring Jerren to campus if they weren't going to offer," said Fairfax head coach Harvey Katani. "So the offer is there."
Loyola Marymount has been vigorously recruiting Shipp for a long period of time. And here recently, California has made a push with Shipp.
"Coach Braun is coming in today to meet with Jerren," said Katani. "We will know more after today as to what is happening there. But I do believe that they want Jerren to visit. He hasn't taken a visit there, but he is familiar with the program since his brother played there."
Shipp does indeed have very strong family ties to the Pac-10. His brother Joe played at California and his brother Josh plays for UCLA.
Shipp led powerhouse Fairfax in scoring this season, averaging 18.5 points per game.
