Shelden Williams Sets Up More Trips

Shelden Williams, a multi-talented and hard-working 6-9, 240-pound forward from Midwest City High School in Oklahoma, said he had a good time on the Duke campus this past weekend.
"I have not committed," Williams said. "But I had a great time. I was very impressed meeting the former and current players. What really impressed me was how well the former and current players got along."

Williams said he will visit Illinois on September 15th and North Carolina on October 5th. "I definitely plan on visiting those schools before I make any decision," Williams told us. "I like those schools too. They both play in tough conferences. So it's going to be a tough decision."
In addition, he is still very much interested in Oklahoma. "I always have liked Oklahoma," Williams said. "I liked them before my high school coach went over there. So I am very interested in them too."
Williams, who averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds per game last season as a junior, is a legitimate McDonald's All American candidate because he has an impact on both sides of the court. He plays tough inside and can go out and drop down the jumper. Williams is also a good defender, works hard on the glass, and blocks shots.
