Shavlik Upbeat About Duke Visit

Shavlik Randolph was upbeat about his tour of Duke University this weekend, as well as the Alumni basketball game he took part in.
“The trip went really well,” said Randolph. “I had a lot of fun.”

While Randolph doesn’t have any trips scheduled for the near future, he’ll soon be planning some official visits to Kansas and Florida, and could stop in for an unofficial jaunt to the home state campuses of Duke, North Carolina, and NC State at any time.
“I won’t be taking any visits in the next couple of weeks,” said Randolph. “But soon I’ll start setting up some unofficial visits. You’ll never know when I could stop in for a visit at one of the Carolina schools, however. They might just give me a call, and I’ll go.”
At the current junction, the Carolina trio are looking good, as is Billy Donovan’s program, whom Randolph has visited twice before. He is not yet familiar with Kansas, having not visited the campus.
“I don’t really have someone that leads right now,” said Randolph. “I definitely like the Carolina schools, and I like Florida, having visited there twice. Hopefully, after I make my visits I’ll be able to have a better idea about what I want to do.”
Randolph would like to have his future college destination squared away before his season with his current team gets underway.
“I’d really like to make a decision before my school season starts,” said Randolph. “But I’m not looking to rush (my decision).”
