Sharpshooter May Get More Offers

Sammy Mejia, a 6-5, 190-pound swingman from Storm King Prep in Bear Mountain, New York, made the top 20 All Star game at the Seton Hall elite camp. This involved many of the top players around the New York/New Jersey area. Sources tell us Seton Hall is close to offering Mejia, who impressed with his offensive skills.
Mejia is a member of the class of 2003 who has impressed RivalsHoops.com this spring at the IS8 league with his versatility. Mejia, a native of the Bronx who played during his junior year of school at Roosevelt High School, is a wiry swing-type who handles well. Mejia ran the point at times for the LPAC team. Mejia is a capable slasher and good off the bounce. He needs to play with more intensity on the defensive end.
