Sharpe Plans To Visit Three Schools

Walter Sharpe, one of the top uncommitted players from the class of 2004, is in the process of scheduling official visits to three schools. It should come as no surprise that the 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward/center from Parker High School in Birmingham, AL., is will take trips to Alabama and UAB, but a new school has entered the mix for the No. 44 ranked player on the Rivals150 list.
“Alabama, UAB and Georgia are the three schools that I am going to officially visit,” Sharpe told RivalsHoops.com. “Those are the three schools that I am going to select from. I do not have a favorite at this time, but I am going to continue to watch the NCAA tournament to see how far Alabama and UAB advance.
“I have not scheduled any visits yet, but that’s something I plan to do very soon,” he added. “I know that picking a school is going to be a difficult decision. I do not think that I could make a decision today if I were forced to. I just need to take some visits and find out what school is best for me.”
