Sharif Bray Is Open

Sharif Bray, a 6-1, 160-pound point guard from Central High School in Philadelphia, PA, plays for the Positive Image AAU program. Bray averaged 17 points, six assists, and three rebounds last season for Central last year as a junior.

Bray is hearing from Lehigh, Bucknell, and Lafayette. He does not have any offers. Bray does not have a leader since he has no offers. Bray will take official visits to Lehigh, Bucknell, and American in November. "I will definitely decide late. I'll decide after the season is over."

Bray is a very good student, carrying a 3.1 GPA at Central, one of the top high schools in the Philadelphia public school system. Bray scored a 1060 on the SAT the first time he took it. But wants to take it again because he wasn't pleased with his score. "I'm going to take it again because that score wasn't good enough for me."

Bray is a spindly floor general in the conventional point guard's mold. He finds the open man, makes good decisions, and made some crafty passes last weekend at the Connecticut Select tournament.
