Shagari: Wide Open

Shagari Alleyne, a 7-3, 250-pound rising senior center from Rice H.S. in New York, N.Y., made it clear in our interview that he has no definite list. "I haven't ruled out talking to any school," Alleyne said. "I don't want to cut any schools out now. It's too early."
Alleyne did say he plans on setting up some visits over the next couple of weeks. But he didn't want to speculate on the schools he might visit. "I don't even know now," Alleyne said. "I have taken one (Louisville). But I don't know where the others will be to."

Alleyne previously indicated that he had a very good trip to Louisville. Temple, North Carolina, UConn, Miami, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova, Arizona, Louisville, Kentucky, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Villanova have been mentioned by Alleyne as schools of interest. "I don't have any leader," he said. "I haven't seen enough schools to say I have a leader."
