Several raise stock at Pangos AA Camp

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Pangos All-American Camp provided an excellent setting for a group of the top prospects in the country to compete against each other. Here are seven 2010 prospects who raised their stock the most over the weekend.

Pangos Stock Raisers: 2010 Class
SG Keala King
6-5/175 (NR overall; NR shooting guard)
King turned heads with his play at the Nike Memorial Day Classic and that trend continued at the Pangos All-American Camp. King is a dynamic athlete at 6 feet 5 with an impressively high skill level. In fact, his feel for handling and passing the ball is good enough for him to project as a potential point guard.
6-9/220 (NR overall; NR power forward)
Johnson began the camp with a chorus of dunks and rebounds. He continued punishing defenders with his physical and bouncy play while also displaying a soft touch from the outside. A tough competitor, Johnson will become one of the more highly recruited big men once college coaches get a look at him in July.
6-8/220 (No. 27 overall; No. 7 power forward)
Jones is also having a terrific spring coming off a state championship high school season. He has always been a unique player with his physically strong, left-handed, skilled game as a ball handler and passer. Now he has grown to at least 6 feet 8 and has improved his outside shooting. Throw in his nifty post up game, and you have a prospect who creates massive mismatch issues.
6-2/180 (No. 87 overall; No. 21 point guard)
What has always made Franklin a valuable player is that if his team needs a tough bucket he can produce one with his herky-jerky style and ability to make contested jumpers. What makes him even better right now is that he is playing within himself and providing great leadership as a point guard. His eight assists in the all-star game attests to the growing maturity of his game.
6-10/230 (NR overall; NR center)
After watching Kirk play early in the spring at the Boo Williams Invitational, I just didn't think he had enough game to overcome his lack of foot speed to merit a spot in the Rivals150. Kirk proved at the Pangos All-American Camp that he does have a lot of game. He scored with jump hooks in the post, knocked down outside shots and blocked shots at the rim.
6-7/230 (No. 46 overall; No. 5 center)
Black looks a little more athletic every time I see him play. He controls the action in the paint and transitions as quickly from end to end as any post player in the class. A new wrinkle in his game showed up this weekend with his aggressiveness pushing the ball up the court with the dribble after defensive rebounds. If Black adds some shooting range to his game, he could very well push through to a five-star ranking.
SG J.T. Terrell
6-4/170 (No. 119 overall; No. 31 shooting guards)
There is a lot of value in being a shot maker, and Terrell proved this weekend that he is one of the top shooters in his class. He drained jumpers all camp long into the all star game where he went 10-15 from the field for 28 points. Look for Terrell to gain a fourth star and expect him to make plenty of jumpers in the ACC for Wake Forest.
