Several High Majors Interested In Kellermann

After a solid junior campaign at O'Fallon High School, Chris Kellermann has decided to take his time with the recruiting process. A number of high major programs are interested in the 6-foot-7, 210-pound small forward from O'Fallon, Ill, but he is hoping to improve his stock even more this summer. Kellermann will spend the summer traveling with the Redstorm AAU organization.
“Marquette, NC State, St. Louis, Butler, Creighton, Illinois St., Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois and Oral Roberts are the schools recruiting me right now,” Kellermann said. “I had in school visits with Northern Iowa and Bradley, but I have already taken several unofficial visits.

“Butler, St. Louis, SIU Carbondale and Illinois State are the schools that I have unofficially visited,” he added. “I would like to take all five official visits, but I don’t think any visits will take place until next fall. I really want to concentrate on having a good summer. If I can do that, I know that more schools will become involved in my recruitment.”
Kellermann was quick to admit that he is wide-open when it comes to his recruitment, but one school in particular has made a big time impression on the Illinois native.
“My unofficial visit to SIU Carbondale was just awesome,” he said. “I got to sit right behind the bench during the game and went to the locker-room after the game was over. The entire experience of sitting behind the bench and being with the players in the locker-room was more than I expected. Seeing everything up-close and being so close to the action was just great.”
