Several high-majors interested in 2007 Poston
A number of high-major programs are beginning to show an interest in Jelani Poston, the 6-foot-6, 215-pound small forward from Simeon High School in Chicago, Ill. Several schools have already dropped by Simeon High School to watch Poston in practice.
"Things are going pretty good with my recruitment right now," said Poston. "I am interested in Southern Illinois, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Northern Illinois, Illinois State, Marquette and a few others.

"Coaches from Illinois, Marquette and Illinois State have been by to watch me practice this year," he added. "I believe that other schools are planning to come by and do the same, but I don't know when they are going to come."
With the season set to begin on December 2, Poston doesn't intend to spend too much time thinking about his recruitment. He is fully aware that he has plenty of time to worry about that in the future.
However, Poston indicated that he is looking forward to taking some official visits before he makes any decision about a school.
"I'm really not sure if I will use all five official visits," said Poston. "There is a chance that I will use all five, but I really don't know about that yet. I would like to visit Georgia Tech and Illinois, but those are the only schools that I really plan to visit right now."
