Seth Scott Update

Seth Scott, a 6-9, 215 pound power/combination forward from Utah Valley State College in Orem, Ut., is still considering enrolling at a Division I school in the fall and sitting out.
Scott, who was one of the top junior college freshmen in the country this past year at UVSC, said the odds are about 70/30 that he will enroll at a D-I school instead of returning to junior college.
Scott told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that he has a top five list of DePaul, UConn, Illinois, Wyoming and Utah. Of those schools, only UConn has yet to offer, he said.
Southern California is also talking to Scott and they have also offered, but he said he is no longer interested in Oregon State. Scott had unofficially visited Oregon State in the spring.
Scott visited Wyoming earlier this summer and said he could visit DePaul sometime within the next month.
If Scott opts to take any visits soon, they will have to come before August 8th, as he leaves for Vincennes J.C. in Indiana on that date. From the 8th through the 24th, he will be involved with a United States select squad that is touring Argentina.
As a non-qualifier out of high school, Scott can attend a Division I school in the fall, but he would have to pay his own way for a year and would not be able to practice with the basketball team.
We'll keep you posted on any changes regarding Scott in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
