Seth Scott Has New Interest

Seth Scott, a 6-9, 220 pound power/combination forward from Utah Valley State College in Orem, Ut., has planned visits to both Wyoming and Pepperdine in the coming weeks.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Utah Valley Head Coach Jeff Reinert recently, and he said that South Carolina and Oregon State have also shown an interest in Scott.

Scott took one visit to Southern California back in the fall, although the Trojans' interest in Seth might not be as strong this spring as it previously was.
Scott averaged 12.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for the Wolverines as a sophomore, shooting 50 percent from the field and 68 percent from the free throw line.
Reinert said that Scott will have the opportunity to graduate this spring as long as he finishes strongly in the classroom at Utah Valley.
A very competitive and fiery player, Scott's temper sometimes gets the best of him, but he was one of the top players in the Scenic West Athletic Conference over the past two years.
He's a good athlete who possesses skills facing and with his back to the basket. His range extends to about 17 feet, as he is not a great three point shooter (24 percent in 2001-2002.
An Orem native, Scott plans on making a spring decision, so we will keep you posted on his situation in the weeks to come.
