Sessions Likes Two, but Open

Point guard Ramon Sessions from Myrtle Beach (SC) High School has the two biggest in-state schools recruiting him. Although he likes South Carolina and Clemson a great deal, he is still open to other schools recruiting him.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Sessions came into the Beach Ball Classic averaging 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists per game. Through his three games in the tournament, he has averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Sessions is a physical point guard who excels inside the three point line and gets to the free throw line. He is not as adept shooting from behind the line.
Injuries slowed him down during the summer, so he is now hoping that schools will take an interest in his play.
“South Carolina and Clemson are the two schools on me right now,” said Sessions, the No. 28 point guard and No. 148 player in the Rivals150. “They have both offered scholarships. I like South Carolina’s campus and school and I like Coach Odom. He seems like a pretty nice guy.
“With Clemson I like the pace of play and Coach Purnell. The pace is up and down with not too much half court.”
“It is not like I am set on going to one of these two schools. I am still wide open.”
