Senior big man announces his decision

The top remaining big man in the class of 2013 is off the board. Wednesday morning, Demetrius Henry made his announcement.
The No. 100 ranked player in the senior class, the 6-foot-9 big man from Brandon (Fla.) Faith Baptist announced at his old high school of Oakland Park (Fla.) Northeast that he would be attending

"For the next four years I'll be attending the University of south Carolina," said Henry at a press conference at his old high school.
A long and athletic big, Henry can run the floor and brings a good level of skill to the floor. He will block shots, is a bouncy rebounder and gets off the floor quickly around the rim.
According to Henry, it was the Gamecocks head coach that made the difference.
"I think that coach Frank Martin really believed in me," said henry. "He believed in me so I believe in him for playing my next four years of college.
A four-star prospect, Henry joins a large recruiting class that includes four-star wing Sindarius Thornwell three-star prospects Duane Notice, Jaylen Shaw and Desmond Ringer. The class is rounded out by two-star wing Reggie Theus Jr. and guard Justin McKie.
