Seminoles Visit Impresses Texas Big Man

Trent Plaisted, a 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward from Clark High School in San Antonio, is just getting started with his official visits. He recently returned from his first all-expenses paid trip, and if his level of enjoyment was any indication, the other three schools will have some work to do to keep up.
"I just visited Florida State," said Plaisted. "It was a really good visit. I liked the players and the coaches. We toured the campus and toured the facilities. We also went to the football game and I met Charlie Ward. It was pretty cool."

Florida State may have inched ahead slightly, just for the simple fact he had such a nice trip.
"They were all even going into the visits," said Plaisted. "But FSU, I had a real good time there. It's basically going to come down to my visits (with the other schools).
The Seminoles will be making a follow-up with Plaisted with an in-home visit this Tuesday.
The next few weekends will also be busy for Plaisted as he takes the rest of his planned official visits, all West of the Mississippi. Stanford is on tap for next weekend, Washington State the next, and Brigham Young on the weekend of October 11th. Kansas, which previously had been in Plaisted's top five, appears to be out of the mix.
Is there any chance Plaisted commits before taking all of his visits? Probably not.
"I plan on taking them all," said Plaisted. "I think that's the best way to do it. I figure that once I take all my visits I'll make my decision pretty quick after that."
Be sure to stay tuned to RivalsHoops for the latest in Plaisted's recruitment.
