The wait is over for Michael Snaer.
The five-star guard from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde is headed to Florida State. Snaer made his decision official on Friday afternoon on national television.

"I really like him. He is a really great coach and I like the way he handles all of his players. He's a really good coach. I like the atmosphere and I really like all of the players and coaches," Snaer, the No. 11 overall ranked player in the class of 2009, said on national television.
UCLA, Kansas, Marquette and Missouri were also in the picture for Snaer. However, Florida State was one of the first schools to recruit the talented scorer from the Inland Empire. The Seminoles jumped in line long before the long list of schools that called on him after his dominating summer performance.
Snaer joins Georgia forward Terrance Shannon, also a Rivals150 prospect, in Florida State's 2009 recruiting class.
Snaer is the highest rated player to make his decision during the one week early signing period. Snaer will sign his National Letter of Intent and send it Florida State this week, binding him to the ACC school both athletically and academically. The signing period began on Nov. 12 and closes at midnight Nov. 19.
